Team Canada Inline Hockey is the national high-performance program of the Canadian Inline Hockey Federation | Canada Inline.
The program brings together Canada's leading inline hockey athletes, coaches, and support staff to compete at national and international events and proudly represent Canada around the world.
Team Canada is the highest-performance level within the Canada Inline pathway.
It is where development, dedication, preparation, and performance come together under one jersey:

WHAT IS TEAM CANADA?
Team Canada is more than a tournament team.
It is an ongoing national program designed to identify, prepare, develop, and support Canadian athletes and coaches for international competition.
Depending on the event and international competition schedule, Team Canada may field national teams across multiple divisions and categories, including:
- Senior Men
- Senior Women
- Junior Men
- Junior Women
- Masters
- Veterans
- Legends
- Other recognized national-team divisions
Team composition can change from event to event based on the divisions offered, eligibility requirements, international schedules, athlete availability, and Canada Inline's national-team planning.
The jersey may change.

The responsibility of representing Canada does not.

WHERE DOES TEAM CANADA COMPETE?
Team Canada may participate in a variety of recognized national and international competitions.
Depending on the event schedule and available divisions, this can include:
🌎 WORLD SKATE EVENTS
World Skate is the international governing body for roller sports, and World Skate-sanctioned inline hockey competitions provide an important international stage for national teams.
World Skate's international inline hockey competitions are open to national teams of affiliated national federations that meet the applicable entry and eligibility requirements.
🏆 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
World championship competition provides Canadian athletes with the opportunity to compete against national teams from around the world.
Team Canada has a history of participating in international World Championship competition, including men's, women's, and junior programs.
🌎 INTERNATIONAL GAMES & CHAMPIONSHIPS
Depending on the international calendar, Team Canada may participate in other recognized international competitions, championships, games, cups, and qualifying events.
🏒 DEVELOPMENT & SHOWCASE EVENTS
National development initiatives can also provide opportunities for emerging Canadian athletes to compete in elite environments and gain experience that can contribute to future national-team opportunities. Canada Inline's National Development Program, for example, provides selected Canadian players with a competitive showcase environment and a pathway toward future national opportunities.

Women's inline hockey is an important part of the Team Canada pathway.
Canada Inline is committed to creating opportunities for female athletes to compete, develop, lead, and represent Canada internationally.
National programs may include Senior Women's and Junior Women's teams when those divisions are offered and supported through the applicable international competition schedule.
The objective is bigger than one roster.
It is about building a pathway where young Canadian athletes can see a future for themselves in the sport.

Junior national teams provide an important bridge between youth competition and senior international hockey.
